The dates for the 40th class reunion are Friday, August 2 and Saturday, August 3, 2013.
To make this event as relaxing as possible, both days will be casual affairs with cash bar.
We want to focus on having fun and relaxing while catching up after 40 years!
There is a single price for this event, whether you attend one or both evenings:
$60 per person if registered by July 7th
$70 per person if late registration or at the door
Money leftover after paying our bills will be donated to our "GHS Vision to the Future" Fundraiser!

Friday, Aug 2
5:15 PM - Flashmob practice! Join the fun as Galesburg celebrates First Friday on Seminary Street. We'll meet at 156 East (that's the name of the venu. It's located at 156 E Main) to practice one last time before performing. Look for Mollie Jordan Newburg and the other reunion committee members.

6:20 PM - Flashmob Performance! Be in place on Seminary Street. When the band goes on break, impromptu iPod music will play, "Play that Funky Music." The second iPod song is OUR Flashmob song, "I Just Want to Celebrate Another Day of Living" by Rare Earth.
7:00 - 11:00 PM Gather at 156 EAST After getting our groove on with the flashmob, we'll move to the former Walgreen’s at 156 E. Main Street (you'll love this place!) where we will enjoy a cash bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and music from the 70’s featuring a live performance by our very own DAVE BERNTSON. Saturday, Aug 3
8:00 AM - Join us for the 5k fun run/walk. Leave from South end of Target parking lot (next to Fairfield Inn and across from the mall). We'll proceed to Lincoln Park War Memorial via Carl Sandburg Drive and Lincoln Park Drive and return to Target. Bob Wessels, organizer / New event!
*There may be an impromptu Yoga class, too. Look for information Friday night.
3:00 PM Tour the current GHS Campus-meet guide at front door
6:30 PM Festivities are being held at the American Legion, 571 E. North, featuring a buffet of our Galesburg favorites; pulled pork from the Rib Shack, Pizza House pizza, and Coney Dogs! We’ll be spinning the oldies and enjoying classic tunes from our high school years as we enjoy getting reacquainted.
