Donald Park

Donald Dale Park, 62, Galesburg, died Monday, Dec. 11, 2017, at OSF Medical Center in Peoria, surrounded by his loving family.

Cremation services have been accorded, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Dale was born Oct. 2, 1955, the son of Donald Gale Park and Louise Elizabeth Pedigo Park in Galesburg. He married Cindy Hatch in 1982; they divorced in 1989.

Dale was a 1973 graduate of Galesburg High School and was a lifelong carpenter. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoying anything to do with nature.

He is survived by his daughters, Amy (Brad) Molitor, Bermuda, and Sarah (Christopher) Anderson, Oneida; grandchildren, Elijah, Charles and Esme Molitor, and Jaxson and Emmett Anderson; sisters, Linda (Bob) Gustafson and Shirley (Rocky) Lester, both of Galesburg, and Mary (Rory) Franck, Cambridge; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Steven Lester.

He will be missed by his family and the many friends left behind at the Ward. The family would like to extend thanks to his friends who helped him on so many occasions - it was deeply appreciated.
