GALESBURG - Russell C. Pratt, 56, Galesburg, died at 6:10 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13, 2010, at Heartland Health Care Center in Galesburg.
He was born Feb. 6, 1954, in Galesburg, the son of Virgil and Lois Carlson Pratt.
Surviving are his mother, Lois Pratt of Galesburg; one sister, Tammy (Gregg) Burkhart of Arvada, Colo.; one nephew, Tyler Burkhart of Arvada, Colo.; two aunts, Lola (Wayne) Mohr of Galesburg and Joyce Krans of LaFayette; and two uncles, Dean Yelm of Princeton and Clark Bunn of Eau Claire, Wis. He was preceded in death by his father.
He was raised and educated in Galesburg, graduating from Galesburg High School in 1973.
He worked for the Galva Creamery and then KCCDD in Galesburg.
He was of Methodist faith.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010, at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Altona, with Rev. Lisa Cato-Crider officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the .
