GALESBURG - Miss Cathy Lynn Jones, 56, Galesburg, died at 8:35 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2011, at her home.
She was born Sept. 29, 1954 in Galesburg, the daughter of Richard L. and Vera Marie Anderson Jones.
Cathy is survived by her mother Vera of Galesburg; one brother, Michael and Rebecca Jones of Parker, Co.; two nephews, Timothy and Janae Jones and Brian and Tammy Jones; three great-nephews; and three great-nieces.
She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, William Jones.
She graduated from Galesburg High School in 1973 and Carl Sandburg Cosmetology School. She worked as a CNA at Rosewood Care Center for five years. She was a member of Hope Wesleyan Church and TOPS.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Chapel, with Rev. Brian Sexton officiating. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel. Burial will be in East Linwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the . Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com.
