Services for Kevin R. Ekiss, 33, R2, Caledonia MN, were held Wednesday in Galesburg IL.

Ekiss died Saturday July 23, 1988, in a motorcycle accident in Houston MN.

He was born May 14, 1955, in Galesburg to Howard and Beverly (Durall) Ekiss.  On July 19, 1974, he married Mary A. Wilberding in Galesburg.  She died January 30, 1982.  He married Bonnie J. Baker on October 25, 1986 in La Crosse.

Ekiss was a 1973 graduate of Galesburg High School and worked as a brakeman for Burlington Northington Railroad. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Galesburg, and a member of the United Transportation Union.

Survivors are his wife, his parents of Florida; his grandparents, Erma Ekiss of Sarasota FL and Dean & Norma Durall of Springfield IL; three sons, David, Joshua and Nathan, all at home: a daughter, Jennifer at home; a brother Keith Ekiss of La Crosse; and two sisters, Elaine Sturgeon and Stephanie Johnson, both of Galesburg.
