Shinn, Terry L. of House Springs, Missouri was born in Hampton, Virginia to Lloyd Jr. and Shirley (nee Westfall) Shinn and entered into rest, Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the age of 67 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Julie Shinn.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Sonja Shinn (nee Hulstrom), four (4) children, Maggie Semington of Galesburg, Illinois, Joshua (Dannielle) Shinn of Eureka, Missouri, Kristalyn Shinn of Maize, Kansas and Chad (Brittany) Shinn of Belleville, Illinois, seven (7) grandchildren, Tanner Shinn, Tyson Shinn, Ashlyn Newingham, Nadya Sperry, Josiah Newingham, Hattie Shinn and August Shinn, two (2) brothers, Ivan (Charmaine) Shinn and Alex (Jean) Shinn, along with many other family and friends.

Terry had faith that Jesus was his savior and waited patiently for his perfect heavenly body. He loved his family deeply, enjoyed spending time with them and was everyone's biggest fan. He himself was an avid Cardinals fan who insisted on always wearing his favorite color red. He enjoyed playing sports himself as well as coaching his children's teams. He is and will be the reigning aggravation champion and his red game pieces will be retired. You would never see Terry without a smile on his face, he was an inspiration of perseverance to everyone who knew him!

Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church 2735 High Ridge Blvd. High Ridge, Missouri 63049. Memorial service will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church. In honor of Terry and his love for the Cardinals, the family invites everyone to wear their favorite Cardinals shirt. The family will hold a private interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery prior to the memorial service.
