PEORIA - Mark R. Hilton, 51, of Peoria, formerly of Galesburg, passed away at 9:05 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2006, at his home. He was born to Robert Gregory and Dorothy Lee (Theesfeld) Hilton on Jan. 4, 1955, in Galesburg. He married Diane Brown in Rock Island on Aug. 19, 1988. She survives. Also surviving are his parents of Galesburg; son, Eric Hilton of Peoria; two daughters, Hollie (and Tom) Hicks of St. Peters, Mo., and Teresa Marquis of Peoria; three brothers, Kris Hilton of Goodfield, Blaine Hilton of Knoxville and John (and Janie) Hilton of Plainfield, Ind.; six sisters, Kathy (and Dick) Schwartz of Bettendorf, Iowa, Becky (and Bill) Kisler of Galesburg, Debbie (and Pete) Anderson of Gerlaw, Teresa (and Gregg) Clay of Galesburg, Jean Lenz of East Peoria and Mary Hilton; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Mark worked as an accountant at Control-Tech. He was an avid runner and enjoyed playing and watching baseball, basketball and football with his family. He was loved by his wife and family He was a great friend and will be missed.
