Tom Rowen Rowen

I live in the Chicago suburbs with my wife, Juli. Together, we have three grown children 14 grandchildren. My wife, Juli, is Assistant Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences at Roosevelt University in Chicago and I am a Senior Portfolio Manager for Fifth Third Bank-Chicago. Work and family keep us busy.

The last reunion I attended was the 25th and I guess I dropped of the radar when we moved to our current home 12 years ago. I look forward to visiting Galesburg and seeing old friends at the 40th this summer!

Galesburg in the 60's and early 70's was a great place to grow up. My years at GHS were one of the best times of my life. Great friends, a lot of fun, and a very good education.

There are so many good memories and funny stuff. I remember when Dave Halpern, Steve Pokwojski and I ran for Student Council President. One of the two best men won (Steve won, and the other best man was Dave). The night after the election I was being a good citizen and taking down my posters at the school. I ran into Mark Brown, who had lost the Vice President race. He came to the school that night and was putting the rest of his posters up. What a nut!
