Christopher A. Norton, 39, died Sunday, June 4, 1995, in Memorial Medical Center, Woodstock.  He was born Sept 6, 1955, in Kewanee, the son of Francis and Ethel (Phelps) Norton.  On Dec 23, 1978, he married Valorie Holmes in Sandwich.

He had been a teacher for Community Consolidated School District 15 in Palatine for the last 16 years, and was a member of the Illinois Federation of Teachers and Sigma Alpha Epsilon of Monmouth College.

Surviving are his wife, a daugther, Lindsay Norton, and two sons, Matthew and Jacob Norton, all of Crystal Lake; two brothers, Robert (Ida) Norton of Galena and Richard (Diane) Norton of Virginia Beach, VA; and six sisters, Doris Norton Phillips of Galena, Patricia (Kenneth) Holman of Galena, Mary Norton of Galesburg, Juanita (Harry) Hackman of Machesney Park, Catherine (Ernie) Simkins of Knoxville and Debbie (Scott) Cassens of East Galesburg.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Joseph and Michael.  

Interment - Windridge Cemetery, Cary.
