Mrs. Karen K. Hatch, 51 of 1216 Arcadia Dr., died at 4:55 AM Wednesday February 14, 2007 in OSF St. Mary Medical Center.
She was born November 9, 1955 in Galesburg the daughter of Julius and Bertha Norton Gargano. She married Barry E. Hatch, Sr. in Galesburg on April 14, 1979. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Barry E. Hatch, Jr. and Shawn M. Hatch, both of Galesburg, two daughters, Rachel L. Hatch and Carrie S. Hatch, both of Galesburg, two brothers, Mike Gargano and Pete Gargano, both of Galesburg and Frank (and Janis) Gargano of Indianapolis, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Julius Gargano, Jr.
She worked in housekeeping for Jumer’s Continental Inn for 23 years, retiring in 1994. She lived in Galesburg all her life. She graduated from Galesburg High School in 1973.
Cremation will be accorded. There will be no visitation. There will be a private burial at a later date.
