Forrest Eugene Franckey

August 29, 1955 — February 1, 2024

Forrest E. Franckey, 68, of El Paso, IL passed away at 1:20 a.m. on February 1, 2024 at his residence.

Forrest was born August 29, 1955, in Galesburg, a son of William and Irene Velligan Franckey. He married Sharon Murawski on November 27, 1985, in Galesburg. She survives.

Other survivors include his sons, Dustin (Faith) Franckey, Paxton and Alex (Sonia) Franckey, of Eureka; four grandchildren; and a brother, William Franckey.

Forrest retired from US Cellular after 26 years of service.

A celebration of his life will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Harvest Fellowship in El Paso. Cremation rites have been accorded. Ruestman Harris Funeral Home, El Paso is assisting the family with arrangements.
