Mr. Ralph W. Connour, 57, Galesburg, died at 2:54 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, in OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
He was born Dec. 8, 1954, in Galesburg, the son of Verl and Deloris Howell Connour. He married Konnie (Kimball) Connour on Dec. 18, 1976, in Galesburg.
Surviving are his wife, Konnie; his children, Emily Dawn (Steven) Lundin of Dekalb, Alison Marie Connour of Knoxville, Tenn., and John David Connour of Galesburg; two brothers, Lloyd (Penny) Connour of Marble Hill, Mo. and Larry (Patti) Connour of Quincy; two sisters, Naomi Morton of Hampton, Iowa and Ruth Ann (Roger) Elliott of Plainfield; two grandchildren, Mariana and Miles Lundin; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, David.
Ralph worked for the city of Galesburg for 30 years. He graduated from Galesburg High School in 1973. He attended and was very active at Northwoods Community Church.
As per his request, cremation will be accorded. There will be no public services. A private family inurnment will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Northwoods Community Church or to the family. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
